* We are working on the theme "Look at Me Grow." We are learning about the letter Xx. Our vocab words are size, person & weight. The sight words are him & mother. Our comprehension strategy is sequencing (first, next & last or we say beginning, middle & end). We will begin our last theme of the year on Wednesday - "What Will it Be." (a theme about animals)
* In math this week we will learn counting by 2's as well as odd an even numbers, measuring distance using non standard units, acting out and drawing some, some went away story problems and identifying and making symmetrical designs.
* Scholastic Book orders are due today!
* Tomorrow is the last day to turn in reading logs for the school wide reading program.
* Thank you for the wonderful week of treats, gifts, flowers etc ect! I am so grateful and appreciative!
* Field Day is Friday 5/21. Please have your children dress for the weather and the day full of activities. (sun screen and tennis shoes)
