This week in kindergarten:
* A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped plan, organize and carry out an amazing 100 Day! It was perfect and the kiddos had such a great time!
* Another BIG thank you to everyone who helped with the Valentine parties! What a big week in kindergarten!!
* Parent / teacher conferences will be Wednesday and Thursday. You should have received your reminder letter with your day and time (last week). Kindergarten conferences are NOT student led. This is for parent & teacher. I am excited to share your child's accomplishments with you this week!
* There is no homework this week. I sent home a Sight Word Packet in folders today. You can work on this with your child - but you do not need to return it to school!
* Tomorrow is the last day to return "Be a Star" reading logs to school. We will not be able to count logs that come in late. Sooooo.....finish filling in your minutes read and send those back to school with your child tomorrow!! We will go back to our classroom book lists next week. I will send a new one home in folders tomorrow.
* Our kindergarten field trip is coming up on March 3rd! Permission slips are in folders today. Please note that AM and PM classes will be coming to school at the same time. Our school day will be from 10am - 1pm that day for both classes! When filling out the transportation arrangements for your child - please be specific. Will your child be dismissed as a car rider, walker, JCPRD etc. Thank you so much!!
* This week in class we will be learning a little bit about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln (as we are coming on President's Day).
* See you at conferences! Enjoy the warm weather this week! :)
