* A big thank you for the wonderful Valentine's parties! I know our class had a great time and we appreciate all of our wonderful parent volunteers that help put together the parties this year!
* This week we continue our theme of "Part of the Family." We will focus on the letter and sound for Vv. Our sight words are over & he. Our vocab words are teamwork, myself & partner.
* In math we continue our topic on subtraction.
* On Wednesday we will have a dental health presentation provided by a local dentist here in our community. February is Dental Health Month!
* This Friday Ms. Brown will be in for a guidance lesson.

* Kindergarten will celebrate their Hot Cocoa party this week in library. They earned this party from the reading program we just completed. Great job turning in your reading logs!!
* Fifth grade is going to have a food drive to benefit St. Mary Soup Kitchen (non-profit). If you would like to donate any nonperishable food items there will be buckets located outside the student’s classrooms. Please send the food in with your child between Feb. 27th – March 2nd. Thank you!!!
