* It was nice to see everyone at conferences!
* We will learn about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
* We will move on to Unit 6 in our ELA pilot program - "Stories have a message." We will look into the characters in stories and the lessons that they teach us.
* Our next writing trait from the 6 Traits of Writing is "word choice."
* In math we will begin Topic 12: Measurement.
* On Thursday we will attend a dental health presentation.
* On Friday we will have a guidance lesson with Mrs. Montgomery.
* Our field trip to Kaleidoscope is on Friday, March 3. If you are interested in volunteering on the field trip - please return you volunteer slip (received at conferences) by this Friday, Feb. 24th.
The students will need to bring a home lunch on the field trip day. We will not be back to school in time to eat in the cafeteria. We will have lunch in the classroom as soon as we return.
