Weekly Update 3/27

This week in kindergarten:
*  We will continue to work on the concept of sentence fluency with our 6 Traits of Writing.
We will focus on beginning and ending blends in words.  For example, "st" is the beginning blend for the word "state."
*  In math we will finish Topic 13 - sorting and classifying.
We are also learning about the clock and telling time to the hour and half-hour.
*  We will use a familiar nursery rhyme (Humpty Dumpty) for a fun STEM activity.
*  The PRE PTO teacher/student basketball game is this Friday.  Kindergarten will be playing at 6:00.  
*  Picture day is next Tuesday, 4/4.
