This week in kindergarten:
* We are winding down! We will try to get in some fun activities this week (bubbles, sidewalk chalk, watching Charlotte's Web etc). We will also have an end of the year celebration with our 4th grade buddies.
* Field day is next Tuesday (which is also the last day of kindergarten). I would like to have a couple of parent volunteers to stay with us throughout the day as we rotate from station to station. Let me know if you are available to help.
All students will need a home lunch on field day. We will eat lunch in the classroom. Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Make sure to send a water bottle and apply sunscreen at home before coming to school.
* I will be sending home a summer packet to help with academic skills over the summer. I am including 1 copy of each recording sheet. You will need to make multiple copies to complete the activities or you can use notebook paper and make your own recording sheet. If your child completes the packet over the summer - have them return it to me in August for a treat.
I also have enough "morning work" papers to make a packet for summer. Please let me know if you would like a Morning Work summer packet and I will make some for those that would like one and will use them.
* There is no homework sheet this week. Please work on the math pages that come home for homework. We are completing one side in school and they should complete the other side at home. They do not need to return these.
* Thank you for returning the shoe boxes for our Time Capsule projects. I will be sending these home on Friday for safe keeping. :)
