* We had an awesome day celebrating 100s Day on Friday!! Thank you so much to all of our volunteers!!
* We are learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln as we are nearing President's Day. I will post the video we watched at the end of this update. You can also click here for the link to our Scholastic News on President's Day.
* There is no homework this week. Instead, I am sending home a sight word packet. You can have your child work on this packet - but you do not need to return it to school.
* Our Valentine's parties are tomorrow. AM is from 11-11:30 and PM is from 3-3:30. We decorated our Valentine's bags at school today. Your child may bring in Valentines for their friends to school. Please do not have them write individual names on the cards. Have them sign their own name on the cards and leave the "to:" portion blank. Thank you!! :)
* There is no school for kindergarten Wed-Fri this week. Also, no school on Monday! Enjoy your nice long break! Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday this week. If you haven't had a chance to sign up - please contact the school office to schedule ASAP!!
* The 2013 Prairie Ridge Parent Survey links will be available on the school website beginning February 13th. Laptops will be available during Parent-Teacher Conferences, and you will have the opportunity to complete this brief survey during that time. It will remain open through February 20th. The survey is grade-level specific, so please complete one for every child you have attending PRE. We look forward to reviewing your input and reflections on the diligence and attention we actively work to provide for each student in our care. Thank you, in advance, for your participation.
