This week in kindergarten:
* We will continue with our travels around the world. This week we will visit:
Monday - Germany / St. Nicholas Day
Tuesday - Kenya / Kwanzaa
Wednesday - Russia - Winter Festival
Thursday - Mexico - Las Posadas
Friday - Sweden - St. Lucia Day
Thank you so much for all of your donations to help with the crafts we are making and the yummy treats! We are having so much fun and learning many new things as well!
Next week we will move on to reading different versions of the Gingerbread Man. I am hoping to end the unit with a surprise Gingerbread Man hunt. I am looking for donations of gingerbread man cookies. They can be homemade or store bought. I know Price Chopper sold them last year in their bakery dept. Let me know if you are able to help!
* In math we will be completing Topic 8 - Subtraction.
* Next Thursday, 12/18, will be the last day of school before winter break. We will not have school on Friday, 12/19.
* Our winter party will be on 12/18 at 3:00.
Have a great week!
