* We will learn about Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw
* We will learn about verbs and will sort between nouns and verbs. We also learned about adding "ing" to the verbs and we are calling this the "King of -ing." We made fun crowns to help us remember how to use -ing.
We will learn about pumpkins in preparation for our field trip on Thursday.
Wednesday will be pink day. Have your child wear pink if they have it.
* In math we will begin Topic 4: Comparing and Ordering Numbers 0-10.
* There is no school this Friday and next Monday.
* Our ABC snacks end today. Beginning tomorrow your child may bring their own individual snack from home. Please make sure it is a healthy snack (no cookies or foods that are high in sugar). Examples: grapes, crackers, goldfish, veggie straws, etc.
* Our field trip is this Thursday. Please have your children wear their new blue PRE t-shirt that they received last week. It is supposed to be chilly on Thursday. I would highly recommend wearing a long sleeved shirt under the t-shirt and/or bringing a jacket. Also, please have your children wear tennis shoes for walking in the field (no sandals or flip flops). All students will need to bring a sack lunch. We will eat at the pumpkin patch. Make sure to label your child's sack with their name.
If you are joining us on the field trip and have not paid for yourself - just bring exact change to pay at the gate.
