* We will begin a new theme: Look at Me Grow! Our comprehension strategy is sequencing.
* We will focus on the letter and sound for Qq. Our sight words are time & come. Our vocab words are inside, reach & chart.
* This is the last week for reading group books to come home. Please make sure to have all reading group books (the little books in the bag) back to school by next Monday 5/9. Thank you so much!!
* All library books are due back by this Friday! I believe there might be a contest going for the first class to return all of their books. Maybe an extra recess??? That would be fun!
* In math we will identify a quarter, continue exploring with tangrams and covering half of a shape.
* This week is National PE week. We can wear our athletic clothes all week (if you like). I know I will! :) We will start our day with a short aerobics activity as we follow along with the 5th graders on the morning announcements.
* We said good bye to our chicks on Friday. As you can see from the pictures below - they grow very quickly. They are so happy to be on a farm with more room to move around! :)
* Enrollment packets are coming home today. Please look for these in your child's backpack!
* Scholastic Book orders are due Thursday, 5/5. If you would like to order you can go to Scholastic to place your order. The Class code is GMMD6.
