This week in kindergarten:
* We continue with our theme is reading - All About Animals. We have introduced the letter and sound for Pp. Our sight words this week are said & my. Our vocab words are shelter, gather & carry.
* In math we continue on Topic 2. We are ordering numbers 0-5 and learning a little more about ordinal position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, last etc).
* If you would like to jump into our math program a little more you can use this link to see the pages we work on. I believe you can also pull up the video bridge that we watch at the beginning of every lesson. You will need the username and password (it is case sensitive). Username is PREstudentK and the password is cougars.
* The color word for Wednesday is WHITE. Have your child wear something white to school on Wed.
* There is no school this Friday (end of quarter).
* If you are creative / crafty and would like to come in and decorate our classroom door with a fall theme (something we could leave up through November) - let me know! I could also use someone to help us with our winter door (we could leave up Dec-Feb). Thank you!! Thank you!!
* We are in need of some toilet paper tubes. If you think about it - would you send them in over the next week. We will use them at the end of October.
* Parent / teacher conferences are next week on Wednesday and Thursday.
