A few extra things I forgot to mention:
* If you need to send anything to school (a note, lunch money, PTA forms etc) please send it in your child's folder. I check folders daily. I do not check backpacks. Thank you so much!!
* Birthday treats - please make sure the treats are individually packaged. For example; if you buy pretzel sticks - place a handful in 22 different sandwich bags. That way all I have to do is pass them out to each child. We only spend about 5-10 minutes on birthday celebrations.
* Along the same note - if your child has a summer birthday and you would like for them to celebrate at school - just let me know ahead of time when you want to do this. I am happy to accommodate. You can figure out when there 1/2 birthday is or plan a day in May.
* I post quite a few pictures of our class on this blog. Please let me know by Friday if you do NOT wish for me to photograph your child for blog purposes.
* If you have not signed up for a parent teacher conference please click here. This conference is held in October.
* There is no school next Tuesday, 9/6. Wednesday will be BLUE day. Have your child wear blue if they have it! :)
* The power point from last night is on the blog. Just click on the left side of this page where it says Mrs. Hoover's Documents. You should be able to find it from there. If you have any problems let me know!
